Braun audio 300 system met originele speakers ontworpen door Professor Dieter Rams in 1969. Hij is in gezien zijn leeftijd nog in goede staan (minimale gebruikssporen, zie foto’s) en zowel de radio als de platenspeler werkt nog goed. Door een speciale schakelaar is hij geschikt voor 230 en 115 V. Dit audio systeem is opgenomen in de collectie van het Museum of Modern Art in New York. Tevens heeft dit ontwerp diverse prijzen gewonnen waaronder de Duitse prijs Gute Form in 1969. Deze uitvoering is sinds 1988 opgenomen in de collectie van het Museum Boymans - van Beuningen te Rotterdam
Braun Audio 300 with original speakers designed by Professor Dieter Rams in 1969. All the functions (radio and turntable) are still in good and working condition. Because of a special switch it can be used for 230V - 115V. Condition: good vintage condition for its age, minimal usage and wear. This audio system has also a place at the Braun exhibition in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Its design has also won a lot of prizes including the German price “Gute Form" in 1969
Dieter Rams was born 1932 in Wiesbaden. He is a (German) industrial designer closely associated with the consumer products company Braun and the Functionalist school of industrial design. Professor Dieter Rams became chief of design at Braun in 1961 during the heyday of industrial design. Rams once explained his design as "Less, but better." Many of his designs have found a permanent home at many museums over the world.
